About

In 2014, I worked with a game development team during the IRAN GDC 2014 to create a 2D environmental puzzle-platformer built around vehicle movement, environmental interaction, and physics-based problem solving.

The player controls a character who can get into a car and drive forward and backward through the environment. When encountering obstacles that cannot be overcome with the vehicle, such as a waterfall, the player must get out of the car and interact directly with the environment.

The game is built around understanding the relationship between objects and the environment to overcome obstacles. For example, the player can shut off a water valve to stop a waterfall, or pick up a rock and throw it at the cave ceiling to cause material to fall and fill a hole in the ground.

A 2D environmental puzzle-platformer built around vehicle exploration, environmental interaction, physics-based puzzles, and cause-and-effect mechanics.
