GAPs!

About

In 2017, I created a casual puzzle / arcade game called “GAP.” The game was developed as a solo project using GameMaker.

The game challenges the player to interact with and navigate through gaps, requiring careful timing and spatial awareness to successfully progress.

The core gameplay revolves around identifying and using the available gaps while avoiding obstacles or failure conditions. The player must continuously observe the game environment and make quick decisions about when and where to move.

The challenge comes from combining timing, spatial awareness, precision, reaction speed, and decision-making. As the gameplay progresses, the player must increasingly rely on accurate movement and well-timed actions.

A casual puzzle / arcade game built around gaps, timing, spatial positioning, precision, and reflex-based gameplay.
